diane dean - epps

Diane Dean-Epps graduated from California State University at Sacramento. After a diverse ten-year journey in television broadcasting, Dean-Epps returned to school, earning teaching credentials in English and Multimedia Production, which led to her inspiring career as a high school teacher.
Parenting and teaching high school students keeps her humor fresh and verbal skills sharp because there are no tougher "rooms" to play than those that house teenagers and those that you clean AND house teenagers.
Diane lives and works in Nevada County, bonding with her musician husband, two children and multitude of adopted four-legged furry children every chance she gets. She has three published books to date: Maternal Meanderings (Humor), Last Call (Humorous Mystery), and KILL-TV (Humorous Mystery), with I'll Always Be There…Unless I‘m Somewhere Else?! (Humor), on the publishing horizon. Her numerous essays have appeared in a variety of publications, including The San Francisco Chronicle, Sacramento magazine, The Union, and The Contra Costa Times.
